Lori Whitlock December Blog Hop

Welcome to the December Blog Hop.  We are still waiting for some snow around this part.  Although the weather has been awesome, and my boys are still wearing shorts to school, I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of the white stuff.

Lori is offering this free file today on her blog:
I love this tag.  I wrapped my presents and needed some tags, so I created some of these snowflake tags.

I also made a digital layout:

We actually did find some snow back in November in the mountains when cutting our Christmas Tree!  The roads were nice and clear, but the shoulder of the road had plenty of snow.  Enough for us to get stuck! Thankfully a nice soul towed us out of the ditch.  I used Lori's digital file Christmas Phrase Posters and Santa and Friends. (Santa and Friends will be coming back to the shop soon!)  I also used a Photo Overlay Christmas. The Christmas Phrase Posters can be used in multiple ways.  I resized to fit one on my page, but they would be wonderful printed as posters as well.  Pick up your favorite Digital Supplies today during the digital sale:

SVGs and Fonts are also on sale:

Enjoy the rest of the Hop, and Merry Christmas!

Lori Whitlock November Blog Hop

Welcome to the November Blog Hop.  The weather is starting to cool, the holidays are before us.  Are you thinking of Holiday Cards, gifts, and decorations?  Fall seems to be the most popular season for comments and color changing photos on social media.  Lori has several Fall Digital kits to help document those photos.  The kits are Fall is in the Air (cute fox here), Autumn Joy, Fall Fling, and Happy Harvest. She even has two fall freebies right here.

I decided to use the Quickpage freebie for my first project.
Aren't all those elements cute?  You can get all of these in the Fall is in the Air Collection.

I am hosting Thanksgiving this year and thinking about the table.  I whipped up some cards to slip into 4x6 frames using Lori's Fall Collections.

Get these digital collections today at Snap Click Supply while they are on sale:

Lori Whitlock October Blog Hop

Welcome to the October Blog Hop.  Are you getting ready for all your fall traditions?  We have a lot of soccer going in our family during the fall.  It is almost over for this season.  My daughter played on the High School team, so I challenged myself to make a layout for her season.  I usually choose a kit and stick to a kit for a layout.  But this time I didn't.  I used some purple paper from Cute Spooks, and some green paper from Mod Papers Lime, some Basics, and the soccer ball is from That's My Boy.  I also used a Halloween Brush.

Did you see the freebie that Lori has on her blog for today?  This skeleton is so cute!

I used this skeleton last year for a book report project for my son.  This year I decided to make one for a fun decoration! I used black card stock and Silhouette Adhesive white card stock.

Lori Whitlock September Blog Hop

Welcome to Lori Whitlock's September Blog Hop.  Sometimes in Digital Scrapbooking, we store our beautiful layouts on our hard drives.  I realized last week that I didn't have half of 2013 printed.  I got busy uploading them to Persnickety Prints and ordered them.  Now I just need to pick up the prints and put them in my book.  I also saw a few events that were missed.  I created a 2013 Halloween Layout with Lori's new Cute Spooks Collection:

I am also trying so hard to stay current.  So this year's First Day of School Page is coming together with Lori's new School Days Life Cards and School Days Collection.

Finally, I wanted to share how I used Lori's products for a school event.  I am in charge of Health and Safety Week at our Elementary School.  We have combined Red Ribbon (saying no to drugs), Green Ribbon (walking/riding safely), and being healthy and active into one week. I used Lori's digital products to create this 20x30 poster to advertise the daily events.  I am printing these at Costco.

Welcome to the August Blog Hop.  Summer is wrapping up, and we are thinking Back to School, and maybe thinking about documenting all those summer memories.
From Pinterest inspiration, I decided to make a Back to School Mantel.  I used Lori's School Days Digital Collection to make a banner and a United States Map.  I made the cute School House at Christmas time, so I am loving to "recycle" the cute building with the Back to School theme. School also available at the Silhouette Online store: School House 1, School House 2.

Lori Whitlock July Blog Hop

It's January!  What fun things are you going to do this year?  Our family is going to ski all the resorts in Utah.  Ski Utah offers Passports for 5th and 6th graders to ski all the resorts in Utah.  Since we have both a 5th and 6th grader this year, this is the year to do it!  The rest of the family purchased Yeti Passes--one lift ticket to each of Utah's 15 resorts.

We plan to get a photo at each resort's sign.  So far so good--we have skied 3 resorts so far.  I am excited to document our adventure.
