Do you ever find yourself wrapping presents at a very late hour with no gift tags left? I have a solution for you using Lori Whitlock Digital Products. I created some simple tags and formatted them in a Word Document. Now they are ready to print. Print out on label paper, or you could just print out on cardstock.
First I created a tag in PSE with the exact label dimensions that I needed, then saved it as a JPEG. I then opened a new label document in Word with the right size label. Here is what it looks like:
A tip for working with those images in Word. Right click the image, select Wrap Text, then Select Tight. This allows for you to move the image around Word a little bit easier. After you fill your page with tags, print it!
I used Lori's Christmas Eve Elements 2 for the tags. And everything at Jessica Sprague is 40% off, so time to fill up your cart with your favorites!
I also wanted to try out the Silhouette Sticker Paper, so I used the sames files to create a Print and Cut in Silhouette Studio. Sometimes, when I am trying to trace an image in Studio, I have trouble, so I found a solution. Open that document in PSE or Photoshop, fill your tag or other shape with black, then save as another file. Click undo before changing your original file.
Open the black file in Silhouette Studio, then trace around the black file. Open the colored file, line it up and voila, shape is traced. Here are the tags ready to print and cut.
I also created a fun banner with Lori's Vintage Font. You can find this in her shop here as a True Type Font, or at the Silhouette Store. And everything at the Silhouette Store is 50% off right now.
I was inspired by Heidi Swapp's video here and a Christmas Tree by the Tom Cat Studio. I used Lori's Vintage Font and cut letters from glittery gold paper with the Silhouette.
This one is actually a gift, but I think I need to make another one for me.
Enjoy the rest of the hop and sale!
