Welcome to the November Blog Hop. I hope that you are enjoying all the great projects. It's time to get Holiday Cards going. Do you still send Christmas Cards? I love Christmas Cards, and Lori has several Digital Card Templates that can help get you started. I used a Template from Card Set 3. Check out sets 1, 2, and 4 as well. Since I am using Family Photos that we took in May, I wanted a neutral colored card rather than the traditional red and green (which I also love). Using a Template and your favorite digital papers, I easily created a custom card to coordinate with our photo.
I used the Template for both the front and back. I just flipped the Template Horizontally for the back.
Welcome to the October Blog Hop. Halloween is just around the corner around these parts. I recently purchased a Heidi Swapp Lightbox, but the Halloween icons were sold out. I found the Halloween phrases, but I wanted some little icons. Well I figured out how to make some custom inserts. I used Transparency. Lori's Cute Spooks collection had just the icons for the project. I first made the project in Photoshop Elements, then I printed on the transparency paper. My printer revolted at first. It did not care for that transparency sheet. I did a quick search and found a tip on YouTube: tape all four corners to a regular piece of paper.
I used some washi tape at each corner, and that did the trick and tricked my printer. I cut my strips out and slid them into the Lightbox!
And BAM, custom Lightbox complete.

It's also time for us to start planning our vacations and activities for the next couple of months. Reminded me of our Thanksgiving last year, and wait I didn't scrap it yet?
